Allan, with all due respect, I don’t think my arguments are “myopic.” Sweden’s relatively low per capita rate is due to the low density of the general population. But the shape of the curve very clearly shows that the Sweds could have saved many lives had they gone into at least partial lockdown.

As for your parallel with “lifestyle diseases,” there is an obvious difference that makes the comparison useless: those diseases are not infectious. SARS-CoV-2 is.
