Dave, I see.

Well, I don’t think our senses and reason are unreliable. They are, however, fallible. There is a huge difference.

By contrast, I do think of prophecy as clearly unreliable, which is why I discard it.

Same with Jung’s theories, which many modern scientists consider to be pseudoscientific, meaning that they entirely lack evidence and yet are put forth as serious contenders.
