Esben, I’m not sure I’m abandoning Stoicism. But I am certainly moving away from orthodox Stoicism and embracing / developing a more eclectic philosophy of life. As Cicero did.

I’m not sure what may be unethical about this. Stoicism has been very useful to me for years, and it is useful to others right now. No regrets there. But what would truly be unethical would be to pretend to endorse a philosophy one has reservations about, no?
