I usually appreciate your comments, but sometimes you misread my intentions.

First, in the post I actually criticize Musonius for his attitude toward sex and relationships

Second, I wrote the piece precisely to remind people that the Stoics did get some things wrong.

Third, nevertheless, a lot of what the Greco-Romas said is still very useful today, often more than what is written by some modern authors. Otherwise it would be seriously puzzling that so many people read them in the 21st century.

Finally, “”Philosophy as a Way of Life” or an ethical dinosaur?”, really? Don’t you think it’s quite a generalization, and pretty surprising coming from you, since you attentively read many of (philosophical) essays?
