Hermes, ever since the beginning of this discussion you have been uncharacteristically rude and aggressive. Are you interested in a conversation or just in venting your frustration at what you think are nonsensical ideas? If the latter, I don’t have the time.

Assuming it’s the first: of course science is based on opinions. Human opinions, backed up (usually, though not always) by solid empirical evidence and sophisticated theorizing. What do you think science is? Truth with a capital-T?
