Hermes, we partially agree. Human beings are certainly the only ones capable of making value judgments, including moral ones. Which is why I agree that to claim no difference in that respect between us and other animals is sheer nonsense, as well intentioned as it may be.But “better”? I can’t follow you there. Why is what we can do better? According to what universal, non-human standard?
