I’m not sure what you are asking. The will is whatever mental faculty is in charge of our decision making, what modern psychologists call volition. As for orienting oneself toward good or bad, for Aristotle that’s the result of two things: the habits we acquire growing up and our deliberate reflections as adult human beings.
