John, I was following you until the very last sentence. What, exactly, is not Stoicism in what I wrote?

Are you saying that Stoicism opposes change? That’s clearly not the case.

Are you saying that Stoics shouldn’t get involved in discussions about the social and political systems? I don’t think so.

And while I agree that picking up litter is certainly one way to help the human cosmopolis, no, it’s not the same as inventing a vaccine.
