Non-human beings and things do not have moral status independently of human beings, so it makes little sense to say they would be better off. We are the only ones, so far as we know, that can arrive at ethical judgments. And Stoics try to live in accordance with nature. Reproducing is very much in accordance with nature, when done reasonably (e.g., taking into account overpopulation, environmental impact, etc.).
