Steven, I understand there to be scholarly disagreement on what exactly Carneades’ approach was, and of course he didn’t write anything down.

But I’m positive about Cicero’s attitude, which is the one I’m using to model a more assertive / useful kind of Skepticism that still preserves the notion that we shouldn’t commit 100% to any opinion.

And yes, I agree with you that Skepticism does not get sufficient attention. I’m hoping to help change that!
