Steven, if idealism is correct, for instance, you would feel the same things, and yet they wouldn’t be “real” in the sense Dawkins is talking about. There is no way to empirically demonstrate idealism to be wrong. Which doesn’t mean we need to believe it. It’s just one more example of Dawkins’ facile take on philosophy.
