Thank you for your kind words. I think the Stoics would actually be more forgiving than the Epicureans about human errors, because they realize they are not sages, and because forgiveness is a virtue. Moreover, the Epicureans believed in actual free will (caused by what they called “the swerve”), so they might have been tempted to assign more responsibility to people’s actions.
